Baroque ensembles of various sizes and instrumentation are available to play a concert for you. Beverly and her colleagues would enjoy being part of your series. We can also provide performances for special occasions. The instrumentation is variable; each concert can be customized to meet your needs. The fee structure varies with ensemble size. Please contact Bev (see contact tab) to start a discussion about the possibilities. The ensemble can include a singer, a harpsichord (one or more of them), baroque winds, and baroque strings – as few or as many musicians as you like.
Bev is also available to accompany baroque-period recitals, serve as continuo harpsichordist for your concert, or participate in recordings.
Here are a few of the venues where our small ensembles have recently played:
Weymouth Center, Southern Pines. Baroque oboe/recorder; theorbo; baroque cello, harpsichord. Treasures of the Mid-Baroque.
American Music Festival. Baroque violin and cello, harpsichord. Music for the Season of Light.
Chamber Music Wilmington. Baroque violin & cello, harpsichord. A Courtly Holiday Tea, a fundraising concert at Graystone Inn.
